These are a set of templates in Excel for creating invoices.
Any business sale transaction, where a product or service is provided to a customer, the seller needs to give the buyer a document that details the product/service and prices of accessories and add-ons as well as any applicable tax. A sales invoice, bill of sale, or receipt is what this document is usually known as. Typically different types of businesses need a little different format of the invoice. When tax structures are different in different parts of a country or different countries, then too the invoice format needs to be different. Additionally, it would be helpful if calculations required in the invoice format are done automatically. Excel formulas are used to calculate line totals, subtotal, taxes, total and balance due, etc. These templates are based on Excel to facilitate that. The templates also take care of the different format needs of diverse businesses.
The invoice templates can be used with Uniform Invoice Software and the combination becomes a very good invoicing system. This software connects the template with a backend database. This Invoice Template with Tax Column includes both the "Bill To" and "Ship To" sections and has columns that are description, Tax, Hours, Rate/Hour, and Amount. Similarly, web hosting services are typically for small-scale businesses that cannot afford a sophisticated accounting or invoicing system. Another variation of a template is "One Tax Column, Summary on Top" invoice template, as is "One Tax Column, No Shipping Address" invoice template. Customized templates could be created too. It works with Excel 2000, 2003, 2007, 2010 and 2013. This is a very good tool.
